A meeting of the trade union organization was held at the RSSC

On April 8, a reporting and election meeting of the trade union organization for 10/26/2019-04/08/2024 was held at the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS. The meeting was attended by the General Director of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli, Chairman of the Free Trade Union of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science, Associate Professor Sanan Hasanov, heads and employees of the relevant departments of the Center.

After the deputy general director of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, Ramiz Iskanderov, who chaired the meeting, announced the agenda, the chairman of the trade union of the Center, head of the department “Macroseismic research”, Ph.D. in the field of geology and mineralogy, associate professor Eytibar Garaveliyev spoke about the work done by the Trade Union for the last five years.

The secretary of the commission, Nigar Mukhtarova, presented a report to the Control and Audit Commission of the Trade Union Organization RSSC. Later, elections took place for a new chairman and members of the trade union organization. As a result of an open vote, Eytibar Garaveliyev was re-elected as chairman of the trade union organization, Rauf Muradov, Bakhtiyar Khanputov, Ilhama Jalilova, Gulnara Alkhanova, Elman Sariyev, Saadat Guliyeva, Nurana Mamedova and Shirin Islamova were elected as committee members. Deputy General Director for Research, Doctor of Philosophy in Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Rauf Muradov was elected Chairman of the Control and Audit Commission, and Economist of the Accounting Department Nigar Mukhtarova was elected Secretary.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Free Trade Union of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science, Associate Professor Sanan Hasanov spoke about the reforms being carried out in the trade union system of the Academy, upcoming tasks and work.

General Director of the RSSC ANAS, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli noted that the Trade Union Organization is an organization created on the initiative of workers and protects their rights, emphasized the need for more active activities of the Trade Union Organization in the field of strengthening the social protection of workers.
