Khynalig seismic station

The Hynalyg settlement is in the Guba territory, at the height of 2300 meters. Historically the people were considered as inhabitants of the village living in the territory of the Albanian state. According to historians, the village Hynalyg could exist for ages. You can read about ancestors of Hynylyg from stories of Strabane and Plinin. Inhabitants of the settlement don`t have many changes in life since ancient times. Inhabitants consider themselves from a sort of the well-known Noah. According to inhabitants, at the time of a great flood the settlement Ketsh was on the mountain Ketsh, and after a strong earthquake which destroyed all houses, inhabitants passed the river and got on other mountain, that how Hynalyg was setteled down. As an evidance, at the height of 2000 meters were found relics of fishes and sinks which confirm the flood fact in this area.
