Gobu seismic station

Known in various countries of the world 800 mud volcanoes - 400 are located in the South Basin of Caspian Sea, including more than 300 on land-based region of Azerbaijan and the Caspian Sea - where the sea and many islands. To be closely associated with volcanic seismic events, an important role plays forecasting of earthquakes and a number of such events.

Gobu - village located on the the Absheron Peninsula. With ancient history Gobu village is one of the most densely populated areas.
