World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day was celebrated at RSSC

On December 30, an event was held at the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS on the occasion of December 31 - World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day and the New Year. The General Director of the RSSC, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli spoke at the event. According to the General Director, a number of successes have been achieved at the RSSC in 2022; the installation of 22 seismic stations purchased and brought to our country at the expense of an international grant has been completed. For the first time in the world, with the help of seismic stations, monitoring of mud volcanoes on the Absheron Peninsula has begun. During the year, a number of successes were achieved in the scientific and research-and-production activities of the Center. The Center's relations with foreign countries and international seismological organizations, as well as with a number of prestigious universities in the world, were further expanded.

 The General Director congratulated the employees of the RSSC on December 31 - the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the New Year and conveyed his best wishes to them.
