The RSSC will host an exhibition-conference on the occasion of the "Science Day"

According to the Order of the President of the Azerbaijan Republic, Ilham Aliyev, on the establishment of the "Day of Science" in the Republic of Azerbaijan dated April 9, 2018, March 27 is annually celebrated in our country as the "Day of Science".

Given the current conditions of the pandemic, it is not yet possible to hold large-scale events in our country. Therefore, this year events related to the "Day of Science" in scientific institutions and organizations will be held online.

The Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS will hold an online exhibition-conference on Science Day on March 30, 2021 at 11:00 via the Zoom platform. The event will feature an exhibition of instruments and equipment used in seismological and instrumental observations in Azerbaijan over the past 100 years. There will also be a presentation on earthquakes and their research by Tahir Mammadli, head of the "Seismology" department, doctor of geological and mineralogical sciences.

At the event, the general director of the Center, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli will directly answer questions from media representatives.
