The RSSC held a meeting with members of the Center’s football team, as well as with the winners of the international conference of young researchers

On May 27, at the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, was held a meeting with members of the RSSC football team, which won the football competition organized by the Free Trade Union of ANAS and the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS, dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the birth of Nationwide Leader Heydar Aliyev. General Director of the RSSC, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli congratulated the employees of the Center on the victory, noting that the RSSC team defeated the opposing teams in all games, including friendly matches, and won the competition.

Professor Gurban Yetirmishli thanked the team members for their decisive will and the confident victory they achieved. Noting that RSSC employees, in addition to their activities, actively participate in the cultural, sports and social spheres of our country, the General Director of the Center awarded the team members and congratulated them.

At the meeting, employees who took part in the V International Scientific Conference dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the birth of Nationwide Leader Heydar Aliyev at the Baku Higher Oil School (BHOS) were also awarded. Based on the voting results of the members of the organizing committee, the report “Analysis of the activation of the Lokbatan mud volcano in 2022 using the Seiscomp program” (authors: N.Takhlatly, M.Shikhaliyeva and T.Yusifova) took first place, the report “Analysis of the earthquake of February 6, 2023 in Turkey and the activation of earthquake sources in the Azerbaijani part of the Caspian Sea” took second place (authors: N.Takhlatly and G.Askerova).

The General Director of the RSSC highly appreciated the first and second places of the Center's employees among 384 articles and theses and wished the young employees success in their future scientific activities.

At the meeting, Center employee Fuad Salimov was also congratulated on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
