The RSSC football team took first place in a football competition held among ANAS employees

Football competitions among Academy employees dedicated to the 101st anniversary of the birth of Nationwide Leader Heydar Aliyev, organized by the Free Trade Union of ANAS and the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of ANAS, have ended.

The team of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS defeated all its competitors and took first place. The closing ceremony was attended by the management of ANAS and heads of scientific institutions and organizations represented by the teams that met at the final stage.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the football competition, the President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli said that the Academy annually holds sports competitions dedicated to the birthday of Nationwide Leader Heydar Aliyev, and also noted that the Academy employees are active in the field of sports, culture and have achieved success in other fields besides science.

Then the President of ANAS awarded the winning teams.

It should be noted that the winner of the competition was the team of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS. The second place was taken by the Nizami Ganjavi Institute of Literature of ANAS, and the third place was taken by the team of the Presidium of ANAS.

The football competition winner's cup was awarded to the RSSC football team. The President of ANAS, Academician Isa Habibbeyli presented the cup to the captain of the winning team Azer Iskenderov. Team members were also awarded medals. A memorable photo was taken later.

Let us recall that last year the RSSC team took first place in the football championship as part of the sports competition dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of Nationwide Leader Heydar Aliyev, organized by the Free Trade Union of ANAS and the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists.
