The head of the RSSC department made a presentation at the international summer school

From August 28 to September 8, 2022, with the joint organization of the Institute of Oil and Gas of ANAS, Moscow State University named after M.V.Lomonosov (Moscow State University), the University of Oslo and the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS held an international summer school "Mud Volcanoes and Oil and Gas Systems".

It should be noted that on August 29, the opening of the international summer school "Mud volcanism and hydrocarbon systems" took place.

Within the framework of the summer school, the head of the department of RSSC ANAS "Dynamics of earthquake sources", Ph.D. in geological and mineralogical sciences, associate professor, Sabina Kazimova spoke on the topic "Determining the parameters of the eruption of mud volcanoes based on data from digital seismic stations in Azerbaijan."

The event was attended by Vice-President of ANAS, Academician Ibrahim Guliyev, General Director of RSSC ANAS, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli, Adriano Mazzini (University of Oslo), Grigory Akhmanov (Moscow State University), Elchin Baghirov (SOCAR), Namaz Yusubov (Institute of Oil and Gas ), Giuliana Panieri (University of Tromsø), Alexander Merkel (Research Center for Biotechnology of the Russian Academy of Sciences), Rauf Nadirov and Erol Nadir (Baku Higher Oil School), Stefan Polto (IFE), Mateo Lupi (University of Geneva).

The speeches were listened to with interest, as well as answers were given to questions of interest to the participants of the event.
