Students of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction undergo internship at the RSSC

According to the Memorandum signed between the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS and the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, from 16.02.2021, university students with a degree in Emergency Engineering and Life Safety began an internship at the RSSC. The industrial practice will last until May 25, 2021.

Note that according to the Plan of internship, on May 17, 2021, students visited the seismic station "Gobu" RSSC. The head of the department of “Macroseismic research”, doctor of philosophy in geological and mineralogical sciences, associate professor Eytibar Garaveliyev introduced the students to the principle of the seismic station, the instruments and equipment used. Getting to know the seismic station on site was interesting for the students and raised various questions that were answered.

Emil Gafarov, associate professor of the department of Emergency Engineering and Life Safety, doctor of philosophy of technical sciences of the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction, also attended the event.

Note that a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of education, science, training and employment was signed between the Azerbaijan University of Architecture and Construction and the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS on January 15, 2020.
