Shikhzakhirli volcano erupts in Gobustan

According to the "Bureau of Earthquake Researches" of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, on January 9, 2021, the Shikhzakhirli volcano erupted in the Gobustan district.

During the day, the volcanic eruption was characterized by 3 activation cycles. The first one is 17:48:36 local time (duration of the eruption is 3 minutes 28 seconds, depth h=2.0 km, energy E=0.37×107C), the next one is 17:53:59 local time (duration of the eruption is 2 minutes 18 seconds) , depth h=2.0 km, energy E=0.29×107C) and 17:58:17 local time (duration of the eruption 7 minutes, depth h=2.0 km, energy E=0.30×107C).
