RSSC hosted an event dedicated to March 8 - International Women's Day

The Republican Seismic Survey Center (RSSC) of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences hosted an event on the occasion of March 8 - International Women's Day. Speaking at the event, general director of RSSC ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli first of all congratulated the women working at the Center on the holiday and conveyed his best wishes to them. The general director said that among the women working at the Center, there are employees who hold responsible positions and are engaged in science. Emphasizing that women work in Azerbaijan in all areas, the Professor spoke about the work carried out in our country to protect the rights of women.

                     

The general director noted that Azerbaijan has always highly valued and paid great attention to women. G.Yetirmishli said that the activity of the First Vice-President of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva is an example for all women. “Today, the activity of our First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva is an example for all our women. Mrs. Mehriban Aliyeva provided unsurpassed assistance in popularizing our national and cultural values, preserving our historical monuments and bringing them to the international community. Today, together with our President, she is doing a great job in the socio-political and cultural life of our country.”

                   

In his speech, the general director urged the young women of the Center to be active in the scientific and scientific-public life of our country.
