RSSC employees were awarded

On March 19, at the Department of Earth Sciences of ANAS, was held a meeting with a group of women employees and veterans of the Patriotic War of scientific institutions and organizations that are part of the Department. Deputy head of the Department, director of the Institute of Oil and Gas  ANAS, academician Fakhraddin Gadirov noted that a group of women employees of scientific institutions and organizations that make up the Department, for their fruitful work in the scientific and social life of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, were awarded the "Certificate of Honor" on the occasion of "March 8 - International Women's Day" by the head of the Department, vice-president of ANAS, academician Ibrahim Guliyev. Having told about the merits of women working in ANAS, in the development of science in our country, academician Fakhraddin Gadirov presented them with "Certificates of honor".

It should be noted that among the awardees are also the head of the "Bureau of Earthquake Researches" of the RSSC ANAS, doctor of philosophy of earth sciences Saida Ismayilova and the head of the "Information" department Vusala Rafiggizi.

Further, academician Fakhraddin Gadirov met with Patriotic War veterans working in organizations that are part of the Department of Earth Sciences.

The heroism and courage shown under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief President Ilham Aliyev by veterans of the 44-day Patriotic War were also discussed at the meeting. The veterans were awarded the "Certificate of Honor" of the Department of Earth Sciences; they were wished success in their future activities.

It should be noted that the meeting was also attended by employees of the RSSC who took part in the Patriotic War - Garay Asadov, head of the Barda seismic station, Sadig Khakhiyev, head of the Saatli seismic station and Elsever Rahimov, employee of the "Bureau of Earthquake Researches".
