RSSC employees were awarded Honorary Certificates

In connection with the transfer of all mass events due to the spread of coronavirus in the world, the leadership of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS on March 8, International Women's Day, presented Honorary Certificates to employees, as well as 11 young employees participating in the II International Scientific Conference of Young scientists and specialists.

The event, held within a limited framework, marked the 70th anniversary of MehradjMammadova, an employee of the department of Analysis and Interpretation of Seismological Materials, RSSC ANAS. The general director of the RSSC, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor GurbanYetirmishli noted that MehradjMammadova, who has been working in the field of seismology for more than 40 years, has achieved great success in her work and has earned the respect of the entire staff of the Center. Congratulating MehradjMammadova, the general director wished her good health and success in future endeavors.

The head of the RSSC noted that the Center’s employees received many awards on the eve of the Novruz holiday. He also noted that the Azerbaijani government is taking all necessary measures to protect citizens from the coronavirus, which has become a global pandemic. GurbanYetirmishli called on the staff of the RSSC to follow the recommendations of the government, and congratulated the employees on the upcoming Novruz holiday.
