RSSC employees were awarded a certificate from an international conference held in Uzbekistan

September 11-15, 2023 in Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan, jointly organized by the Federal Research Center of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Seismology of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, the Foundation for International Humanitarian Cooperation of the CIS Member States, the Republican Center for Seismic Forecasting Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held the XVII International Seismological Conference on the topic “Processing and interpretation of seismological data using modern methods”.
The conference was attended by employees of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS - head of the “Macroseismic research” department of the RSSC, doctor of philosophy in geology and mineralogy, associate professor Eytibar Garaveliyev with a report "Experience in determining seismic impact on construction sites in Azerbaijan", junior researcher of the “Engineering geology and seismic microzoning” department Ilhama Djalilova with the report "Study of engineering-geological conditions of the territory of the city of Baku in order to determine the level of seismic hazard", junior researcher of the "Engineering geology and seismic microzoning" department Firuza Mehdizade with the report "The influence of hydrogeological and geomorphological factors on seismic hazard in seismically active areas of the city of Baku."
Following the conference, RSSC employees were awarded a certificate.
On September 18, the General Director of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli presented certificates to the RCSS employees who took part in the conference, congratulated them and wished them success in their future work.
