RSSC employees took part in the webinar

On May 3, the American company Kinemetrics held another webinar for employees of seismological centers of partner countries.

The webinar was attended by Saida Ismayilova, Ph.D. in Earth Sciences, Head of the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, Rugiya Kerimova, deputy head of the Bureau, and software engineer Nail Gaziyev.

At the webinar, Mauricio Ciudad-Real, President of Kinemetrics, delivered a presentation on the topic “Ensuring the smooth operation and safety of liquefied natural gas production facilities”.

In his presentation, Mauricio Ciudad-Real talked about how businesses monitor their facilities to make better decisions when responding to emergencies before, during and after an earthquake.

Further, answers were given to questions of interest to the participants.

It should be noted that informative webinars on the application of new technologies and programs are monthly conducted by the American company Kinemetrics, in which RSSC employees regularly participate.
