RSSC employees took part in the webinar

On April 5, the American company Kinemetrics held another webinar for employees of seismological centers of partner countries. The webinar was attended by Saida Ismayilova, PhD in Earth Sciences, head of the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, and Rugiya Kerimova, deputy head of the Bureau.

Matthias Franke, Vice President of Kinemetrics, head of Open Systems and Services, spoke at the webinar with a report "Data Collection". In his presentation, Matthias Franke described how to collect data with high accuracy in the world's seismic systems in "real time".

The presentation also focused on the practical application of a specific technology based on proven experience in data collection in large critical systems.

Later, questions that interested the participants were clarified.

It should be noted that the American company Kinemetrics conducts monthly informative webinars on the application of new technologies and programs, in which RSSC employees regularly participate.
