RSSC and Oxford University discussed cooperation issues
The Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS and the Oxford University of Great Britain held regular discussions at the level of working groups on the expansion of bilateral cooperation, as well as the implementation of joint scientific projects.
The conference, held through the Zoom platform, was attended by corresponding member of the University of Oxford and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Professor Rashid Djavanshir, head of the department “Dynamics of earthquake sources” RSSC, doctor of philosophy in geology and mineralogy, associate professor Sabina Kazimova, Professor of Oxford University Richard Walker, doctor of philosophy of Department of Earth Sciences, University of Oxford Ian Pierce.
During the discussions, representatives of the Oxford University presented new space information about the territory of Azerbaijan. It was noted that representatives of the Oxford University will visit Azerbaijan in November this year.
The meeting also discussed joint projects to be implemented within the framework of bilateral cooperation, exchange of experience and other issues.
