Representative of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited RSSC

On September 14, the head of the Department of Geophysics and Nanomineralogy of the Center for High Technologies of the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ilkhom Alimukhammed visited the Monitoring Center of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS.

The event was attended by the head of the Department Dynamics of Earthquake Sources, PhD in Geology and Mineralogy, Associate Professor Sabina Kazimova, head of the Bureau of Earthquake Research, PhD in Earth Sciences Saida Ismayilova, Head of the Geodynamics Department, PhD in Geology and Mineralogy, Associate Professor Ilyas Kazimov.

Head of the Department Dynamics of Earthquake Sources, Doctor of Philosophy of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Associate Professor Sabina Kazimova informed the guest about the complex seismological, geophysical, geodynamic and geochemical studies carried out at the Center. The guest also got acquainted with the results achieved and ongoing work.

At the meeting, an exchange of views took place on the prospects for joint cooperation. Also, the possibility of joint cooperation between seismologists of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan within the framework of international projects is not ruled out.
