New seismic station installed in Dashkesan

Employees of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, which continues to expand the seismic monitoring network in the country, have completed the installation of a new seismic station in the Dashkesandistrict. Preliminary foundation work has been completed for the installation of a new seismic station in the village of Zarnava, Ismayillidistrict.
Note that within the framework of an international grant project, the Center will install 22 seismic stations in the country. Thus, the number of seismic stations in the country will reach 84. The expansion of the network of seismic stations contributes to the improvement of the quality of seismic surveys carried out in the country. It should be noted that RSSC is a leader not only in the region, but also among the CIS countries, as well as the Middle East and Europe in the installation and operation of seismic stations, as well as in the level of complex geophysical and seismic studies.
