GFZ representative visited RSSC

Professor Mahdi Motag, head of the “Geodesy” department of the German Research Center for Geosciences, visited the Monitoring Center of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS. The guest got acquainted with the work of the RSSC.

Sabina Kazimova, head of the “Dynamics of earthquake sources” department of the RSSC, doctor of philosophy in geology and mineralogy, made a presentation on the results of comprehensive seismological, geophysical, geodynamic and geochemical studies conducted by the RSSC. The meeting was attended by the head of the Earthquake Research Bureau of the RSSC, doctor of philosophy in earth sciences Saida Ismayilova, the head of the “Geodynamics” department, doctor of philosophy in geology and mineralogy Ilyas Kazimov and others.
