General director of the RSSC participates in the VI International Earthquake Symposium

The general director of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli is visiting Turkey.

As part of his visit, Gurban Yetirmishli takes part in the VI International Earthquake Symposium, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Düzce earthquake of the East Sea of ​​Marmara on August 19, 1999, Kocaeli and November 12, 1999, Düzce, supported by the University of Düzce, Sakarya University, Gebze Technical University, Government offices of Kocaeli, Kocaeli Municipality, AFAD and MARKA.

It should be noted that the symposium also discussed earthquake issues between local and global stakeholders, including scientists, architects, engineers, educators, healthcare professionals, lawyers, administrators, and aid agencies. The 6th International Earthquake Symposium will complete its work on September 27th.
