General director of the RSSC in Turkey told about the seismic situation in Azerbaijan

Speaking at the VI International Symposium on Earthquakes on the 20th anniversary of the Duzce East Sea of Marmara earthquake on August 19, 1999, Kocaeli and November 12, 1999, Duzce made a report on seismic situation in Azerbaijan. In his report, the general director spoke about the current seismic situation in the country, comprehensive seismological studies and the obtained results.

It should be noted that during the event the general director of the RSSC held bilateral meetings. Bilateral cooperation was discussed at a meeting with professor Chengiz Kurtulush, head of the Department of Geophysical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Kocaeli University. During the discussions, the possibility of joint seismological research projects between the Department of Geophysical Engineering, the Faculty of Engineering of the Kocaeli University and the RSSC was not excluded.
