General Director of RSSC held an online meeting with representatives of Turkish universities

On November 24, an online meeting was held on the Zoom platform within the framework of the Cooperation Agreement signed between the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences and the Scientific and Technical Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK).

The meeting was attended by Professor Fadime Sercelik from Kocaeli University of Turkey, Professor Mehmet Köküm from Firat University, Professor Ismayil Talih Güven from Kocaeli University, representative of the Department of Earthquakes of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey  (AFAD) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey, Professor Kursat Alyamadj, representative of Eskishehir Technical University Muammer Tun, representative of Kocaeli University Tahir Serkan, as well as the General Director of RSSC ANAS, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli, head of the department "Dynamics of Earthquake Sources", Doctor of Philosophy in Geology and Mineralogy, Associate Professor Sabina Kazimova.

Issues related to future joint projects were discussed at the meeting. The parties also exchanged views on the conduct of bilateral joint research work.
