French professor visited RSSC

Professor of the Strasbourg University Maxim Bano visited the RSSC in connection with the beginning of the cooperation of the Azerbaijani-French University in Baku with the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS. General director of the RSSC, corresponding member of ANAS, professor Gurban Yetirmishli acquainted the guest with the scientific research of the Center and the obtained scientific results. The general director stressed the importance of signing a memorandum between the two sides, noting that the cooperation between the Azerbaijani-France University and the RSSC is beneficial for both parties.

Maxim Bano noted that seismological studies in Azerbaijan are at a high level. The guest said that, along with the Azerbaijani-French University, joint projects with the University of Strasbourg can be implemented.

It should be noted that at the initiative of the Azerbaijani-French University, students studying earth sciences at this educational institution will be trained at the RSSC. A preliminary agreement was reached between the parties.
