Employees of RSSC took part in the training within the framework of the international project

On March 21-24, a SeisComp course was held with the participation of representatives of partner countries within the framework of the Seismic Network Expansion in the Caucasus and Central Asia project.

The event was attended by Rugiya Kerimova, deputy head of the “Earthquake research bureau” of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, Bureau employees Yegana Muradova, Nail Gaziyev, Takhir Ismayilov, Gullu Maharramova, head of the department “Dynamics of earthquake sources”, doctor of philosophy in geology and mineralogy, associate professor Sabina Kazimova, employee of the department Gulnar Huseynzade and employee of the department "Analysis and interpretation of seismic materials" Narmin Takhlatli.

An introductory course on the SeysComP4 program was presented at the training. The program includes loading data from seismic stations, exporting and importing seismic data, and other functions.

It should be noted that the next discussions between representatives of partner countries are scheduled for May this year.
