Bureau of Earthquake Researches of RSSC operates in a strengthened mode

After the Quarantine Regime has been declared by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, with the official permission of the Cabinet of Ministers, continues its activities in a strengthened mode, involving a limited number of employees.

It should be noted that RSSC is the only state organization conducting seismological studies in the country. Currently, there are 40 functioning telemetric stations of the Center. Data from these stations is transmitted via satellite directly to the Bureau of Earthquake Researches. Data from 35 territorial and 5 regional seismic stations are processed by the Bureau. At present, our stations, as well as the Bureau of Earthquake Researches, continue to operate in real-time mode.
