An event dedicated to Remembrance Day was held at the RSSC
On September 27, an event dedicated to September 27 – Remembrance Day was held at the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS.
At the event, a minute of silence was held to honor the memory of our martyrs who died for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
General Director of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, Corresponding Member of ANAS, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli said that although the 44-day Patriotic War ended with the victory of the Azerbaijani people, the Armenian revanchists, at the instigation of some foreign forces, rose again in Karabakh, the brave Azerbaijan Army under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev put an end to this in one day and won a victory. “It goes without saying that no war ends without blood and martyrs. We had martyrs during the 44-day Patriotic War in 2020, as well as during the anti-terrorist operations carried out these days. For the liberation of our lands and ensuring our territorial integrity, for this victory, we are indebted to our Commander-in-Chief, our soldiers, martyrs and veterans,” the director general said, recalling the atrocities committed by Armenians in Khojaly and other cities during the occupation.
It should be noted that after the event, employees of the Center, under the organization of the Trade Union RSSC, visited the graves of martyrs on the II Alley of Honor.
