An event called “Your relatives are our responsibility, my martyr” was held at the RSSC

On September 27, at the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance, was heldan event entitled "Your relatives are our responsibility, my martyr".

The event began with the performance of the national anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Executive Director of the RSSC, Doctor of Philosophy in the field of technical sciences, Associate Professor Rauf Muradov said that September 27 occupies an important place in the history of the Azerbaijani people. Rauf Muradov noted that the Patriotic War began as a result of provocations committed two years ago by the armed forces of Armenia along the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan. As a result of the 44-day Patriotic War, our lands, which had been in the hands of the enemy for 30 years, were liberated by the Azerbaijani army under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev.

The executive director noted that there were martyrs among our civilians and military during the war years, prayed for the mercy of Allah to the martyrs, and wished good health to the veterans. At the event, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the martyrs who died for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.

Further, the head of the Barda seismic station of the RSSC, a participant in the First Karabakh War and the Patriotic War, Major Geray Asadov spoke about the innovations introduced by the Azerbaijani army into world military science in the destruction of the enemy army, about the courage of the heroic sons of Azerbaijan in battles and the annals of heroism.

Chairman of the Trade Union Organization of the RSSC, head of the Macroseismic Research department, Doctor of Philosophy in Geology and Mineralogy, Associate Professor Eytibar Garaveliyev said that the Center has employees who participated in the First Karabakh War, as well as in the Patriotic War. Stating that there are martyrs among the children of the RSSC employees, Eytibar Garaveliyev said that the social and domestic problems of families of martyrs and veterans are always in the center of attention of the Center's leadership.
