A seminar on the topic “Awareness in the field of regulation of labor relations” was held at the RSSC

On April 21, at the initiative of the Trade Union of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, was held a seminar on the topic “Awareness in the field of regulation of labor relations”. Employees of the RSSC seismic stations located in different districts of the country took part in the seminar online, connecting via the Zoom platform.

The chairman of the RSSC trade union, the head of the “Macroseismic Research” department, Ph.D. in geology and mineralogy, associate professor Eytibar Garaveliyev said that the event is aimed at raising awareness of workers about the duties and responsibilities arising from labor rights.

Then, Vusala Rafiggizi, Head of the Information Department of the RSSC, made a presentation on the topic “Awareness in the field of regulationof labor relations”. In her report, the head of the department spoke about the rights and obligations of employees under an employment contract, the rules of internal discipline and working conditions, mutual obligations and responsibilities of the parties. She also informed the staff of the Center about the issues arising from the labor legislation.

The Chairman of the Trade Union of the RSSC E.Garaveliyev noted the importance of such events and discussions of various topics.

The seminar also provided answers to employees’ questions.
