A meeting of the Yasamal regional branch of the New Azerbaijan Party was held at the RSSC

On December 16, a meeting of the Yasamal regional branch of the New Azerbaijan Party was held at the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS. General director of the RSSC ANAS, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli, speaking at the meeting, said that the Azerbaijani people, which gained independence in the early 90s of the last century, underwent a series of severe tests. At that time, quarrels between various political groups created political chaos in the country. As a result, the Armenian separatists in Karabakh, thanks to their patrons, occupied the Azerbaijani territories. At that time, the only way for the future of the Azerbaijani people and the salvation of the country was the return to power of the great leader Heydar Aliyev.

Speaking about the appeal of the Azerbaijani intelligentsia to the great leader Heydar Aliyev, the general director of the RSSC shared his views on the creation of the New Azerbaijan Party under the leadership of Heydar Aliyev and the path of the party's development. "Our great leader said that the New Azerbaijan Party is the party of yesterday, present and future."

Noting that President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev is currently the chairman of the New Azerbaijan Party, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli spoke about the successful socio-economic reforms carried out in the country under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev and innovations in party development. He also noted that our occupied lands were liberated from the enemy under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. The unity of the Azerbaijani people and their unity around their president led to the victory in the war.

In his speech, the chairman of the Yasamal regional branch of the New Azerbaijan Party Bakhtiyar Nabiyev spoke about the activities of the central organization of the RSSC ANAS. Highly assessing the activities of the central organization of the RSSC, the chairman of the Yasamal regional branch of YAP noted that at the VII YAP congress a new party charter was adopted and, in accordance with it, changes were made within the organization.

At the meeting, elections were held for a new chairman and deputy chairman of the central organization of the RSSC ANAS Yasamal regional branch of the New Azerbaijan Party.

The Deputy general director of the Center Ramiz Iskenderov nominated Gurban Yetirmishli, the general director of the Center, to the post of the chairman of the central organization of the RSSC ANAS. General director of the RSSC, corresponding member of ANAS, Professor Gurban Yetirmishli was unanimously elected as the chairman of the central organization of the RSSC.

Vusala Rafiggizi, head of the Information department of the RSSC, was appointed deputy chairman of the central organization, and as a result of the vote, Vusala Rafiggizi was elected deputy chairman of the central organization of the RSSC.
