Data is being exchanged between AFAD Earthquake Department and RSSC

From February 6-10, 2023, employees of the Department of Earthquakes of the Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkey, who are on a visit to Azerbaijan, together with employees of the "Earthquake Research Bureau" of the Republican Seismic Survey Center of ANAS, discussed the exchange of information on seismic data stations.

It should be noted that by agreement between the parties, mutual exchange of data from 10 seismic stations located in the border areas of both parties is carried out. Also, Turkish experts gave instructions to the RSSC employees on using the SeysComP4 program when processing earthquake data.
